As part of the Office for Victims of Crime’s (OVC) Improving Outcomes for Child and Youth Victims of Human Trafficking Training and Technical Assistance project (Improving Outcomes), Brave Path Strategies partnered with RTI International to support grantees in developing a strategic plan. The Improving Outcomes grant program, funded by OVC since 2016, awards state or Tribal entities funds to develop state- or Tribal based approaches to improve the identification of and coordinated response to child and youth victims of human trafficking within their states or territories

What we did:

• Brave Path Strategies led a training workshop at the  Improving Outcomes grantees meeting in Colorado in May 2024, focused on how to develop a strategic plan. The training pulled from lessons learned in developing the Citywide Strategic Plan to Address Gender-based Violence and Human Trafficking in Chicago, which our founder led
• Worked with RTI International to develop a strategic planning guide that serves as a roadmap to support Improve Outcomes grantees in the development of their own strategic plans in their respective communities
